Fulton County & Progress Reports
For those of you in Fulton County with an IEP, remember to change your Progress Reporting period in your IEP. Fulton has it listed as "Progress on goals and objectives will be sent home with report cards at the end of the semester". Change to "will be sent home with report cards EVERY six weeks".
They did this to save $$ on paper. My bigger concern is that they will not actually update progress and parents need to know this progress at every report card period. Parents should track progress on goals/objectives. There may be times when the goals/objectives need to be changed and updated before an annual IEP.
If you haven’t had it changed in your IEP, request in e-mail they do an “Addendum” to make this change now!
