Fulton County School Board Race

FYI – I know who I would vote for if I lived in Fulton County.  It's time for Linda Schultz to go.  She testified she NEVER read the Hopewell Teacher Abuse report!!  Is this who you want as your School Board President?  NO!

Have you talked to Rob Goodman??  You should!  Spread the word in Fulton County……..

The Fulton County School Board race is heating up. This is Rob Goodman's (email: rob@voterobgoodman.com website: www.voterobgoodman.com) platform for the district 1 seat:

Stopping pattern of abuse in our schools

New regulations have strengthened abuse oversight but only after the current Fulton County School Board ignored many years of abuse reports, according to students' parents.  New abuse cases are continuing to surface along and parents I have spoken with are concerned an alarming increase in bullying from other students.  There is little determent where there is little punishment.  Any abuse should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.  Because of the abuse at Hopewell Middle School and Roswell High School, Fulton County taxpayers are liable for millions of dollars in legal expenses.

Attorney Chris Vance, representing one of the families is quoted, ""I'm outraged," said Vance, who points out that the bulk of the fees were incurred after the district declined to settle the case. "We should not be using taxpayer money to litigate and lawyers make money. We should be using that money to educate Alex and the others abused, and all the other children in the Fulton County system."

Fulton County School Board President Linda Schultz testified she did not know more than one student was abused by a special education teacher, because she didn't read the investigative report.
